Packaging design has evolved beyond brown paper bags and translucent plastic cases; it's all about the aesthetics, the freedom to translate your brand identity and let it become a time-tested memorabilia.
What's the number one rule in packaging design, you say? To make you stop mid-walk and marvel at these products, of course!
Don't let us convince you. Check these amazing designs down below:

Tasked with creating a packaging design that best reflects the organic rice growing processes of the famous Thung Kula Ronghai rice, Prompt Design promptly created this eco-friendly box for SRISANGDAO RICE.
The package is die-formed with the rice-shape embossing on top of the box cover, with the inside of the box filled with the rice sack and printed with the lot number. Oh, and did you know that this box also doubles as a tissue box as well? Woo-wee!

If you love makeup, then you'll love CCode. A chic brand for a chic crowd, this cosmetics brand wants to attract their younger makeup lovers into trying out their products, and judging by the packaging, I think they very well succeeded.
Featuring a minimalistic design with vibrant colors, Nokua Design combines beauty and elegance all into one neat package that really shines even when it's inside your clutch.
If you have the opportunity to own one of these beauties, don't forget to take a picture of this and post it on the 'gram!

'Time is running out.' That is the goal of this self-promotion packaging by Omdesign, who uses time as a motif to create this creative bottle.
Fashioned to look like a wine brandy bottle, Omdesign aims to let the user reuse the H2Om bottle without moderation for pure, crystal clear water, reminding everyone that water is, after all, a finite natural resource.
Have they succeeded? I would think so; a win in the MUSE Design Awards is a huge testament to this great initiative.

ShenZhen Lingyun’s GuoCuiWuDu is the epitome of the past meeting the present, where the design is a modern reinterpretation of a bottle of spirit with traditional Chinese roots embedded onto it.
ShenZhen Lingyun determined ‘cleanliness’ as the keynote to the design, which led them using a blue transparent glass bottle container and a bottle cap that brings out the distinctive oriental aesthetics to the fullest.
The result is a bottle that is easy on the eye and a clean, minimalistic design that will certainly be an inspiration to all future packaging designers.
