BMW & Coachella = Award-Winning Social Media Campaign

BMW & Coachella = Award-Winning Social Media Campaign

BMW and Coachella's collaboration has yielded some of the best looking digital campaigns of the last decade.

BMW and Coachella may be completely different in terms of industries, but they could not be more similar when it comes to creativity, innovation and their keenness to appeal to the masses.

If you just so happen to love BMW and the Coachella festival, fear not, because their recent collaboration for Coachella 2019 last year is really, really awesome. Take a look at these amazing visuals here:

Winning the Grand Winner in the 2020 MUSE Creative Awards, BMW looks to seamlessly blend music, inspired design, technology, sustainable mobility, and the journey that fans and artists take on their own road to Coachella.

How did they do it? By asking Khalid (yes, that Khalid) to be the artist partner for Road to Coachella, of course! Khalid’s imagery is combined with Coachella’s alongside key elements from BMW, giving the car a unique look that stands out amongst the rest.

The campaign exceeded expectations and reached over a billion people through social media, press, and marketing efforts, answering the question of how a brand can integrate into a music festival and create an organic open dialogue with its fans.

The results? Global outlets like Forbes and Billboard used the campaign as a case study of how brands should effectively engage with festival audiences. Now that is a true testament of an amazing campaign!
