Interview with Alvin Hu, A+ONE Space Design Studio, China

Due to my interest, I am very interested in space, color and aesthetics. To complete a scene with temperature will give me different meanings and vitality. From the beginning of conception to the implementation, I will also have a great sense of achievement.

Since the establishment of A+ONE interior design office, our business scope covers all walks of life decoration design, hotel, catering, entertainment, and home design.

As far as I am concerned, design is an open and free process that produces different answers due to different participants. Design is designed to solve problems and solve problems arising in people's life and development. Art satisfies the expression of consciousness and emotion, but design is not only the expression of emotion, but also has the practical function and has value as well.

Not one design is my favorite, different styles have their own charm. If I must say one, that would be minimalism.

In my opinion, a good design meets the requirements of the demand side to the greatest extent in terms of function, and at the same time have unique attributes belonging to this environment.

The most recent style I am using is minimalist. Minimalism art has expanded from the original pure art field to the fields of fashion, literature, music, architecture, design and decoration .Becoming an important design trend of thought in modern times is a new artistic rising faction, a design style, and also a way of life.

In essence, design is a process of problem solving. It starts with the problem and develops activities around the problem. Therefore, the design must start from the investigation of needs, collection and analysis of information, find and identify the problems that need to be solved and worth solving, and put forward the design project scheme on this basis.

Of course, it has a huge impact. Design is inextricably linked to culture itself. Through the influence of Chinese characteristics and Chinese cultural concepts and consciousness, and through the thinking of this consciousness to create design content that is closely related to life style and specific environment.

Thank you very much for the recognition of MUSE Design Awards. It is a great honor for me and my team to win the MUSE Design Awards in 2021. After that, we will also make more efforts to do everything well, so as to give a perfect design presentation to customers and friends who trust us.

The competition was also a coincidence, just at that time in the newly completed project, day and night, I am relatively satisfied with the works.

The biggest challenge was some problems occurred in the landing process. Finally, the project was successfully completed with the cooperation of various units and thanks to the cooperation and understanding of the construction party, which resulted in today's presentation.

We live in an objective and realistic society. We must start from reality, which is the only way for you to succeed. You can only adapt to the society to be welcomed by the society, where only the courageous ones strive to create to better adapt to the society to serve the society.

The first is to solve the problem in thinking, the second is to find the shortcomings in practice, and the last is to complete the goal design in the process of constant correction.

In my opinion, China is in a state of rapid development in the design industry. What is unique is not a single design style or one person's achievement, but all of us attach great importance to the sense of design, like life is not just about fuel, rice, oil and salt, but love.

Design has attracted more and more attention, and more designs have been included in the early communication of products and services. With the development of society, design will certainly occupy a vital position in various projects.

Design is a very hard industry, but also very challenging, if you take it as not just a job, but a dream, please be prepared to bear hardships.

Accumulate experience at ordinary times, learn more, read more books, and constantly improve through observation.

All kinds of trivial things in life will inspire my design inspiration, such as a movie, a song, a painting, an interesting conversation with a friend.
