Celebrating Design Without Boundaries, the international competition recognises outstanding work across nine design disciplines and reveals its highest honours—the Designs of the Year.
(INTERNATIONAL — 10 SEPTEMBER 2026) – The French Design Awards has announced the winners of its 2026 Season 2 competition, recognising outstanding achievements by designers, studios, agencies, brands and organisations worldwide.
Organised by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the competition received more than 3,000 entries from over 30 countries. Platinum, Gold and Silver distinctions were awarded across architectural, interior, product, packaging, landscape, fashion, conceptual, user experience and user interface design.
The Designs of the Year represent the highest distinction presented by the French Design Awards. Selected from Platinum-winning entries, these projects exemplify exceptional creativity, innovation and execution across their respective disciplines
1. Architectural Design of the Year

“The 2026 Season 2 winners show that outstanding design is not limited by geography, discipline or scale,” said Thomas Brandt, spokesperson of IAA. “From the spaces people inhabit to the products and digital experiences they use, these winning works demonstrate clarity of purpose and a strong command of execution. We congratulate every recipient on this achievement and on contributing to the continued advancement of design internationally.”
Beyond the Designs of the Year, Season 2 recognised a wider field of Platinum, Gold and Silver winners representing the breadth of contemporary design, including Yuexiu Property Guangzhou Regional Company&Matrix Design, TC Design, YASSS! Entertainment Production, YHDQ Design, DAS DESIGN, ARCH-AGE DESIGN, Hangzhou 9M Architectural Design Co., Ltd., and more.
Together, the Season 2 recipients represent design created for different audiences, industries and environments, united by the quality and purpose of the work presented.

With the announcement of the 2026 Season 2 winners, submissions are now open for the 2027 French Design Awards. Designers, studios, agencies, brands and organisations worldwide are invited to submit outstanding work across nine design disciplines.
