Reimagine Craft: 2027 MUSE Creative Awards and MUSE Design Awards Open for Submissions

(INTERNATIONAL - October 16, 2026) - The 2027 MUSE Creative Awards and MUSE Design Awards are now open for submissions, inviting creative professionals, designers, agencies, studios, brands, and firms worldwide to present their strongest work for the new competition year.

Presented by the International Awards Associate (IAA), the two international awards programs return under the shared 2027 theme, Reimagine Craft, encouraging participants to meet changing creative and design landscapes with curiosity, purpose, and renewed attention to how ideas are developed, refined, and brought to life.

Creative and design work are changing as new tools, formats, materials, methods, and audience expectations reshape how ideas are created and experienced. Reimagine Craft invites participants to reconsider familiar processes, explore new possibilities, and turn strong ideas into purposeful work without losing the judgment, care, function, and attention to detail behind exceptional results.

In 2027, MUSE recognizes work that responds to change with originality, precision, and refined execution. The invitation is not simply to follow new directions, but to rethink the process, strengthen the outcome, and create work worthy of international recognition.

“Craft is not fixed; it evolves as people, tools, materials, and expectations change,” said Thomas Brandt, spokesperson of the International Awards Associate (IAA). “Reimagine Craft invites creators and designers to look again at how ideas are shaped, tested, and refined. The strongest work does not pursue change for novelty alone; it uses new possibilities with purpose and turns them into something clear, relevant, memorable, and meaningful.”

Where Creativity and Design Are Refined with Purpose

The MUSE Creative Awards and MUSE Design Awards bring together two connected ways ideas meet the world: through communication and through form. The MUSE Creative Awards recognizes ideas built on strategy and expressed through storytelling, media, and experience, while the MUSE Design Awards recognizes concepts transformed into products, spaces, systems, and environments through function, problem-solving, and refined execution.

Across both programs, MUSE celebrates the people and teams who rethink process with purpose - turning briefs into possibilities, research into direction, and creative or design decisions into work that shapes how audiences experience brands, content, products, spaces, and environments.

The 2027 MUSE Statuette: The Muse Reimagined

The 2027 MUSE Statuette brings Reimagine Craft to life through a balance of classical artistry and contemporary expression. From the poised Muse and intricately sculpted gown to the floral details and luminous architectural forms surrounding her, every element reflects the imagination, precision, and craftsmanship behind exceptional creative and design work. Reimagined for changing creative and design industries, the statuette celebrates those who reconsider familiar approaches, explore new possibilities, and refine every idea with purpose.

Eligibility & Key Dates

The 2027 MUSE Creative Awards and MUSE Design Awards welcome entries from agencies, brands, creative and design studios, production companies, marketing teams, designers, architects, manufacturers, developers, independent professionals, and organizations worldwide.

Participants are encouraged to submit their entries by the Early Bird Deadline on November 19, 2026. The Final Extension Deadline is February 25, 2027, and winners will be officially announced on April 16, 2027.
