In 2026, UAP Inc., Canada’s leading distributor of automotive and heavy vehicle parts under the NAPA brand, marked its 100th anniversary with a people-centered communications campaign built around the theme “Leading the Way.”
The integrated campaign featured a cinematic manifesto video, an original soundtrack composed and performed by employees, and an 80-page commemorative magazine. Together, these elements brought UAP’s century-long journey to life while reinforcing the collaboration, expertise, and forward-looking vision that continue to shape the organization.
The manifesto video presents the company’s legacy through an emotional narrative jointly delivered by its outgoing and incoming presidents. Their participation symbolizes continuity between generations of leadership, shared purpose, and confidence in UAP’s future.
The original soundtrack added a deeply personal dimension to the campaign. Following a nationwide talent search, seven employees from across Canada came together at a professional recording studio in Montreal to compose and perform the music, bringing authentic voices from within the organization into its centennial celebration.
Completing the campaign, the commemorative magazine documents UAP’s history, milestones, and people. More than a retrospective, it creates a lasting record of the company’s achievements while recognizing the individuals who continue to shape its next chapter.
Through thoughtful storytelling and meaningful employee participation, UAP transformed its centennial into a celebration of both legacy and forward momentum. The campaign earned Gold at the 2026 TITAN Business Awards in the Company & Organization – Corporation category, recognizing the strength and impact of its people-centered approach.
