Interview with Tseng Min-Kang & Hsu Kuei-Wen | Experienced Designers from CHI-R Interior Design

What made us pursue and choose to become a designer would be our aim and goal to pursue aesthetics. For us, "design" is to pursue the beauty in life, and beauty should be displayed in life at any time.

We founded CHI-R Interior Design, a simple, small-scale studio consisting of several new-generation designers. We are always trying our best to provide new lifestyles for people, spaces, and the environment.

To provide the best services, we prioritise the residents' perspective, completing a design space of personal style, perfectly integrating the residents' habits and design aesthetics, and implementing the core awareness of the art of life.

For us, we agreed with the motto that "Design" is to pursue the beauty in life, and beauty should be displayed in life at any time. The beautiful things in life, provide a new way of life between people, space, and the environment.

In our team, our preferred kind of design would be a modern style of designing. The modern style of designing will have fewer constraints while designing.

A good design would require suitability of designing, designing is not just designing something but making it a suitable and utilised design is what makes it good.

The design and idea for the Grand Feast were coined and designed after communicating with the residents of the home. After discussion and communicating with what and how they want their home to be designed with, I sensed their demeanor and family needs. Hence the creation of Grand Feast came to be.

The main source of inspiration for this design would be "Life". As we've discussed and communicated with the owner of the home, we concluded that the need for life and family would be the ideal inspiration for the designing.

This project incorporates special building materials and cutting-edge design concepts. Combined with the uniqueness of the original architectural layout, the design became more intriguing.

For us, the key to success is only ONE word! Perseverance.
