Global Music Composers Present Their Proudest Masterpieces in LIT Songwriting

Creating a melody from scratch isn’t something that everyone can master, let alone creating a song from unique and distinctive elements.

With almost limitless creativity and possibilities in the fields of music, here are some magnificent works from global music composers in the 2022 LMA, specifically in the fields of LIT Songwriting.

A Maiden Made Not of Clay

Created by ‘Shumile Exotic Dimensions’, the song ‘A Maiden Made Not of Clay’ belongs to a project that combines Pop, Classical/Film Score style and World Music, including Irish, Indian, Arabian, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Chinese, African, Greek, Russian, and other music categories. In the productions for this project, musicians from a total of 14 different countries have joined to form a spectacular team altogether. As the name suggests, Shumile is the main Producer, Arranger, and orchestrator of the entire project, overseeing its’ operations in the creation of this strong and influential piece.

Zero Expectations ft. Katty Gold: “Come Back”

Zero Expectations, a.k.a. Marlon van Maastricht, is the creative pseudonym of the Dubai-based Dutch singer, songwriter, and producer, the main individual behind “Come Back”. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Dr. Neo at Studio 9 in Dubai, the song itself is partly autobiographic in the sense that it describes his unquenchable explorative thirst. The lyrics also include an inner and external dialogue, further dissecting the realization of his personal ventures. Directing the composition structure of the eN2 produced track, he wrote the lyrics while singing the vocals which featured Katty Gold.
