Didi Hsu

Didi Hsu has always had a close relationship with photography and is constantly in a learning state to sharpen her skills as a photographer in hopes to produce more masterpieces.

I am studying art and painting so I have a close relationship with photography which allows me to stay in a creative space where I am constantly inspired.

The internet is a vast resource that contains an abundance of information and tutorials on photography. I would search for photography-related knowledge on the Internet and apply what I have learned into my photography.

At the beginning, I used a consumer camera because I became interested in shooting. From then on, I learned what I could on photography so that I may can sharpen my skills in photography.

Affirmation is the best compliment because they appreciate the creative expression and effort that I have put into my masterpiece. It is a powerful form of compliment that validates my artistry and boosts my confidence as a photographer!

What inspires my storytelling is photographing people, events and items that touch you through the lens. One would say that the world around me inspires my photography!

Thank you for the affirmation and favour granted to me by MUSE Photography Awards! I am truly humbled and honored to receive such a great distinction as a Category Winner under Architecture Photography! I am deeply touched for this recognition and will cherish this achievement of mine.

By participating in the MUSE Photography Awards, I hope that I can comprehend my level and reaffirm myself as a photographer. It is a great opportunity for self-discovery which poses as a learning experience to better understand and better myself but mostly appreciate my unique style.

Photography is a hobby of mine and I truly hope that my masterpiece will be recognized globally. Gaining recognition for my creative expression will hone my skills as a photographer and fuel my passion to capturing the beauty of what I perceive to be beautiful through my lens.

I was adviced to take pictures of what I see in front of myself, take pictures of what you think in your heart that is found around you and to never forget your original intention. These three elements aided me in creating meaningful and powerful images! Allow your photography to be a reflection of who you are, what you care about and the beauty of what you see through your lens.

Photography is a personal journey that every photographer journeys to. The most important thing is to photograph what you like. Embrace what you like and be open to learning and from there, you will be able to grow as a photographer.

By combining the power of feeling and photography, taking pictures of what you see in front of your eyes and feeling with your heart will birth a wondrous masterpiece. Let your passion for photography be a guide to how you can explore the world through your lens and people will definitely view how you view the world!

I always try to shoot different subjects as that will allow me to diversify my photography. One should always open a space where they are able to diversify their photography as it will open hundreds of avenues for them.
