My name is Eliyan Cohen, and my passion for photography began in my childhood. As I grew older and pursued my studies at university, I transitioned into professional photography, honing my skills and turning my lifelong interest into a career.
I began my photography journey as a teenager in Iran, and later continued to evolve as a photographer in New York, United States, expanding my horizons and exploring new facets of the craft.
Yes, I do remember!
It was a colored photograph from an art book, featuring a hand as part of the composition. I was responsible for all the scene's positioning and arrangements, essentially engaging in a form of stage photography to create this piece.
Used to do analogue but I am using a Digital now.
I hope to become an international photographer someday!
In my projects and research, I'm deeply captivated by what I like to call the 'phenomenon law of nature.' It's this beautiful, intricate tapestry of patterns and sequences that nature effortlessly unveils.
Quickness, nature and passion!
It's a pleasure that my photograph was selected as one of the Honourable Mentions at the London Photography Awards! Much appreciated to the team as well as the jury!
My artwork, titled "Whatever," captures the juxtaposition of human constructions against the enveloping natural landscape. This piece explores the complex relationship between our creations and the nature that frames them.
It's a significant accomplishment in my career.
Ansel Adams, Edward Weston and Michael Kenna.
When you get along with your subject, you will understand them a lot better and eventually it will lead you to amazing results in your photography!
Before you move into the photography world, you have to know yourself first; what you love and what you inspire to be. I wish them the best of luck!
Do not give up easily and believe in yourself.
I usually turn to social media to continue being in a receptive state of mind! I find that it greatly helps in my photography.
Thank you for this great opportunity!
