Interview with FanYu Tseng of Medi-Muse Design CORP.

I have always been passionate about art and design and believe in the power of art and design to improve people's lives and the environment. This belief drove my choice to become a designer in order to create beautiful, functional and meaningful spaces.

Medi-Muse Design CORP. is a design company with a passion for crafting one-of-a-kind interior designs and artistry. We work on everything from commercial shops to private residences. Our mission is to provide our clients with top-notch design solutions and bring their dreams to life.

For me, design represents the perfect combination of creativity, functionality and aesthetics. It is an art form that improves people's lives in unique ways, creating comfortable and pleasing environments.

The design style that inspires me and is a personal favorite of mine is Bauhaus. The reason why I like it is that it can extend the discussion of the form of beauty based on the premise of simplicity and functionality.

A good design should be innovative, functional and aesthetically valuable. It should enhance the quality of life of the homeowner while providing a pleasant visual and sensory experience.

My design style is based on Bauhaus and presented in an easy-to-understand way, which is what everyone is accustomed to calling modern style. Its main features include calm color selection, functional design, and personalized material color matching after solving practical use problems.

My design process begins with a deep understanding of the client's needs and desires. We then research and ideate, develop designs, and work with clients on feedback. Finally, we realize the design, ensuring that every detail is to a high standard.

In my country, where different cultures come together, I find that I am very receptive to the combination of ideas and cultures. It gives me a wealth of inspiration and presents me with a unique way of looking at my designs. Plus, it affects the materials, colors, and styles I choose for my work.

This is a great honor and it means a lot to our team! It proves that our efforts and talents are recognized and inspires us to continue striving for design excellence.

I participated in the 2023 MUSE Design Awards with this simple interior design work and won the Gold Award (Interior Design - Residential) and Silver Award (Interior Design - Living Spaces). I chose to participate in this program because I believe it provides a great opportunity to showcase innovative designs and network with my peers.

The biggest challenge of this project is to be different from previous traditional design experiences and to consider the lifestyle derived from different ideas. We overcame these challenges to make the project a success story!

Winning the award has been a game-changer for my career. It's boosted my visibility and brought in a slew of exciting projects and clients. Plus, it keeps us inspired to keep aiming for the best.

Three of my favorite things about our industry are the endless possibilities of creativity, being able to improve the environments in which people live and work, and collaborating with versatile peers.

What makes my country unique in the design industry is our rich cultural heritage and diverse artistic styles that enrich our designs and make them unique.

The design industry will pay more attention to sustainability and the application of innovative technologies to meet changing needs and challenges.

My advice to anyone about to enter the industry is to keep pursuing your passion and creativity, keep learning and challenging yourself, and make valuable connections with your peers.

I would recommend that people who want to improve their skills in the design industry attend relevant workshops, online courses and design exhibitions, and read relevant design books and magazines.

I often experience hotels, cafes and traditional restaurants in different cities, which are all manifestations of local life experience. It can constantly update our perspective and experience of life.

Every owner I work with has lead me to discover different lifestyles and visual perspectives!

The keys to success are persistence, creativity and continuous learning. The wisdom I want to share is never stop chasing your dreams and believe in your abilities.
