Junling Zhuang is a New York-based design technologist and researcher with expertise in user experience design, data-driven design, computer science, and engineering. His innovative work blends spatial design with human-computer interaction, envisioning these fields as a new digital media infrastructure, driven by rapid prototyping and cutting-edge technologies.

Hi, I'm Junling, a design technologist and researcher based in New York. My multidisciplinary background includes user experience design, data-driven design, computer science, and engineering, allowing me to merge spatial design and human-computer interaction into a unique form of digital media infrastructure. I focus on rapid iterative design prototyping and the integration of emerging technologies to drive my work forward.

My architectural design background from undergraduate studies has deeply influenced my perspective on social structures. I aim to leverage my design and technical skills to positively impact people's lives.

Design encompasses a vast spectrum. Beyond the familiar realms of interface and graphic design, social design and human-centered approaches are equally crucial. A truly successful design, in my view, resonates with people much like a masterpiece of art does.

My designs blend emerging technologies with user experience. I believe design and technology aren't separate entities, but rather a symbiotic community that enhances each other.

This recognition of my past efforts serves as a powerful motivator, inspiring me to push further in my chosen career path.

I'm excited about the integration of AI in vertical products. Its impact on user experience is transformative, streamlining the end-to-end process and introducing numerous innovative interaction modes.
