Interview with Ramin Barzegar | A Varied Artist with Masterful Creations of Visual Arts

Ramin Barzegar

A multi-faceted artist, Ramin Barzegar's masterful creations span various domains of visual arts. Drawing inspiration from diverse artistic movements, he infuses his work with the dynamic interplay of light, form, and space reminiscent of modernism. Ramin's exceptional talent has been internationally recognized, earning him 37 international photo awards to date.

Hey, I am Ramin Barzegar, a professional photographer. My interest in photography began when I received a simple camera as a gift in my childhood. This gift made me seriously interested in photography, and through various experiences over time, I have deeply understood this art.

I studied industrial design at the University of Art in Iran and took several courses in photography. However, due to my passion, I pursued photography professionally and I became acquainted with various photography techniques and was able to develop my skills

I don't remember the first photo I took, but I started photography at the age of seven. I remember being more interested in taking pictures of nature and portraits.

I use a Nikon camera and over the years, I have acquired a variety of lenses to achieve different qualities.

I aspire to have a positive impact on the photography community, to innovate within this art form, and to be able to tell stories through my photographs that evoke deep emotions and thoughts in the viewer.

The compliment I received from one of my professors at the university was very inspiring: "Every photo tells a story, and it is the photographer's duty to narrate this story in the best way possible."

My inspiration comes from nature and everyday life. Every simple moment can hold a great and profound story within it.

Imagination, storytelling, and innovation.

Thank you. Receiving this award is a great honour for me. It represents my effort and dedication to the art of photography and encourages me further for future projects.

The winning photos of beautiful and unique buildings, each of which is a symbol in different parts of the world. However, I created a different atmosphere by incorporating beautiful reflections and water droplets, which symbolise life and vitality, thereby enhancing the beauty of the architectural work.

I chose this project because I wanted to demonstrate that photography can showcase the culture and hidden beauty of these places to the world.

Participating in international competitions is like attending a class for me, where I both learn and meet new classmates, each with outstanding talents and remarkable creativity.

The best piece of advice I received when starting out in photography was from a mentor who told me, "Always keep your eyes open. Inspiration can strike at any moment, and it's important to be prepared to capture it."

This advice has stayed with me throughout my career, reminding me to stay observant and ready. Photography is as much about seeing and perceiving as it is about the technical aspects of the camera.

By keeping an open mind and an attentive eye, I've been able to capture moments that are not only visually appealing but also emotionally resonant. This approach has helped me develop a unique style and perspective that continues to evolve with each shot I take.

My advice is to always photograph with love and passion. Learn from the experiences of others, but maintain your own style and perspective. Additionally, make use of new technologies and keep yourself updated.

The key to my success is perseverance and continuous effort. I also always remind myself to "never stop learning.“

I am very grateful for the opportunity given to me and I hope that through my work, I can achieve positive impacts in the world of photography.
