Miniso Friends feels less like a typical store and more like a place shaped around experience. Set within a space that stretches beyond a thousand square meters, it brings its IP characters into the environment in a way that feels present without being overwhelming. There’s a sense of ease as you walk through, with each area opening up naturally rather than demanding attention all at once.
The design is built on a modular system that keeps the space organised without feeling rigid. Walls, shelving and display features are produced as prefabricated elements, then assembled on site with precision. This method allows the store to maintain a consistent look while still offering variety across different zones. Movement through the space feels natural, guided by a layout that supports both browsing and interaction.
Attention has also been given to how the space is constructed. Most components are prepared in a controlled factory setting, which limits disruption during installation. On-site work is kept simple, avoiding heavy processes that often create dust, noise and waste. As a result, the construction phase becomes more efficient and far less intrusive to its surroundings.
A defining quality of Miniso Friends is its ability to change over time. Each element can be taken apart, adjusted or reused, allowing the space to respond to new ideas or different locations. This flexibility gives the store a longer life, while keeping the experience current for visitors. It is a practical approach that supports both creativity and responsibility, offering a clear direction for retail spaces that aim to remain relevant without constant rebuilding.
