Ivan Dzmitryievich brings over 15 years of experience in product design and innovation, with expertise spanning AI, augmented reality, communication platforms, and emerging technologies. His ability to evaluate how effectively complex ideas are translated into intuitive, user-centered experiences makes him exceptionally qualified as a juror, offering a discerning perspective on innovation, functionality, usability, and overall design impact.
I am a Product Designer and entrepreneur with more than 15 years of experience designing digital products across mobile applications, communication platforms, augmented reality, artificial intelligence, and wearable technologies.
Throughout my career, I have worked with companies including Banuba, Wargaming, Easybrain, and Beeper, where I served as a Founding Product Designer and led design initiatives across more than 14 messaging networks prior to the company’s acquisition by Automattic in 2024.
My work in augmented reality contributed to a U.S. design patent later cited by companies including Apple, LG, Huawei, and Magic Leap.
My expertise lies in transforming complex technologies into intuitive, impactful experiences that create value for users while advancing innovation within the digital landscape.
I joined the Vega Digital Awards judge panel in 2025. What motivated me most was the opportunity to help recognize outstanding digital experiences and innovative uses of technology.
Having spent much of my career building products that combine design, engineering, and business objectives, I appreciate how challenging it is to create work that is both technically sophisticated and genuinely useful. Serving as a judge allows me to celebrate teams that successfully push the boundaries of digital creativity while delivering meaningful impact.
I evaluate entries through several dimensions: innovation, user experience, execution quality, strategic thinking, and measurable impact. While originality is important, I believe the most successful digital projects are those that effectively solve problems and create meaningful experiences for their audiences.
I look for work that demonstrates a strong balance between creative vision and practical execution, where technology serves a clear purpose rather than existing for its own sake.
The strongest entries typically combine innovation, usability, and craftsmanship in a way that feels both elegant and effective.
I evaluate every entry according to the same criteria, regardless of the size of the organization, budget, or market recognition behind it. My focus remains on the quality of the work, its objectives, and how effectively it achieves its intended outcome.
I also make a conscious effort to consider the context in which each project was created, including its audience, constraints, and goals. This helps ensure that innovation and excellence are recognized fairly across a diverse range of industries and disciplines.
One of the most rewarding aspects is gaining insight into how digital innovation is evolving across industries and regions around the world. The entries often showcase creative approaches to challenges that many organizations are facing, from user engagement and accessibility to emerging technologies and new forms of interaction.
It is inspiring to see how talented teams use design and technology to create experiences that improve the way people communicate, learn, work, and connect.
The most challenging evaluations often involve comparing projects that excel in different areas. For example, one entry may introduce a highly innovative concept, while another demonstrates exceptional execution and measurable results.
In these situations, I return to the judging criteria and evaluate each project based on its objectives, effectiveness, and overall contribution. Maintaining consistency and objectivity is essential to ensuring a fair outcome.
As an active product designer and technology founder, staying current is an essential part of my work. I closely follow developments in user experience design, artificial intelligence, digital products, emerging technologies, and consumer behavior through industry publications, conferences, research, and hands-on experimentation.
I also learn a great deal through judging international awards programs, which provide a unique view into emerging ideas and creative innovations from around the world.
Focus on solving a meaningful problem exceptionally well. Technology alone rarely makes a project memorable; what matters is how effectively it improves the experience for the people using it. The strongest entries clearly communicate their objectives, demonstrate thoughtful decision-making, and show measurable impact.
Innovation is most powerful when it serves a genuine purpose and creates lasting value for users.
One of the most significant trends is the increasing integration of artificial intelligence into digital products and creative workflows.
However, what stands out most is not the technology itself, but how effectively it is being used to improve experiences and solve real-world challenges. I have also noticed a growing emphasis on accessibility, personalization, and human-centered design.
The industry is increasingly recognizing that innovation must be accompanied by responsibility, inclusivity, and measurable value.
I hope to see projects that challenge assumptions and demonstrate new ways of thinking about digital experiences and I must say the entries that excite me most are those that combine ambitious ideas with exceptional execution and a clear understanding of user needs.
I am particularly interested in work that demonstrates how technology can create meaningful positive impact while maintaining a high standard of creativity and craftsmanship.
What I find most memorable is the pace at which digital innovation continues to evolve. Every judging cycle introduces projects that challenge established conventions and reveal new possibilities for interaction, communication, and engagement.
The entries that leave the strongest impression are often those that successfully bridge technology and human experience, demonstrating that innovation is most effective when it remains focused on people.
I believe constructive feedback should be clear, objective, and actionable. Even when an entry does not achieve the highest scores, there are often valuable strengths to acknowledge and opportunities for improvement that can help creators continue developing their work.
My goal is to provide feedback that encourages growth, highlights potential, and helps participants better understand how their projects can achieve even greater impact in the future.
