Lucille Yutien Huang is a mobile and web digital interface designer that aspires to create products and experiences that will empower and inspire people!

Hi, I’m Lucille (Yutien Huang), a mobile and web digital interface designer. My digital interface works range from user experience, interaction design, digital design, visual, mixed reality experiences, and music. My goal is to create products and experiences that empower and inspire people.

Back in 2016, while I was assisting with digital projects, I saw that the design of the interface allowed users to quickly browse. It might boost revenues from a button and reduce the complexity of a basic interface's user flow, for example. I'm becoming more certain that I want to be a digital designer. I wish to use my creative abilities to foster interaction and positive change.

I am currently working as a designer for a tech company. As a designer in my personal life, I get inspiration from exploring new things.

I would say interface design for websites, the interface design is all about making websites, apps, and other digital tools that look good and are easy to use. It involves designing things like buttons, menus, icons, and the layout as a whole to improve the user experience. If the focus is on web design, it also includes the layout, navigation, and general user experience of the web. It means thinking about things like responsiveness, accessibility, and usefulness to make digital experiences that work well and look good.

There are still a lot of businesses that use laptops to do their work, so most of their software is on the web. This is why I am focusing on being a web interface designer, creating and designing more useful web platforms for businesses.

Simplicity and functionality can be achieved through simple and thoughtful design.

I use vintage design, especially the 1920s design style, to create Piet. The 1920s design style used high-sheen metals, geometric shapes and patterns, and tiles. Bold, geometric shape; this is why the interface is showing shapes (line, circle, rectangle, etc) and gold and smoky black colors for Piet.

Piet is creating from definition, research, ideation, prototype, testing, iterations, and then the final design.

Since March 2020, we have been working at home for days, months, and years. More and more people have pets, and I am one of them. I have never raised a dog, deeply understand that dogs are human's best friends after I have a dog. It is also challenging to go to the art gallery to see paintings during the stay at home order. After studying some historical changes in the relationship between dogs and humans. I decided to create a Dogs and Art app.

With continued emphasis on user experience design. AR and VR technologies are gaining popularity in various industries, Data Visualization will let designers explore innovative ways to present complex data in visually appealing and easy-to-understand formats, enabling better insights and decision-making. Voice User Interface Design will help people a seamless user experience through voice commands and responses.

I crafted this Piet project as an individual professional, and it boosted my design thinking and also the project scope. This VEGA Digital Award is a significant achievement, bringing both external validation and internal satisfaction to me.

As a web digital interface designer, Vega Digital Awards allows me to collect feedback, credibility and market standard (creativity, aesthetics, and technical expertise) of digital design. Vega Digital Awards are typically characterized by their exceptional creativity, innovation, and execution, so if I win the awards, it is a recognition for me as a digital interface designer. Piet’s concept is using AI or ML technology to extract the images for compositing art into a new painting or sculpture. Users can also learn more about modern and contemporary art from around the world.

The overall scope and iterations from Piet, much feedback, and making iterative improvements are the most significant changes in the iterative process for the MVP.

Winning a Vega Digital Design Award can significantly impact my practice and career by having validation, visibility, and new opportunities. It can propel professional and personal growth, open doors to exciting prospects, and solidify my position as a respected professional within new industries.

Rapid technological advancements, user-centric focus, continuous learning, and adaptation with my flexibility.

Not just the current country I'm staying in. I believe that the digital industry is growing everywhere in the world. AI is both powerful and dangerous.

More digital designs benefit people and the environment, such as accessibility, sustainability, AI, AR/VR without heavy goggles, etc.

Being curious about new things and finding your passion.

There are too many! And many free resources out there. Online Courses, Design and Tech Blogs, Online Design Communities, Industry Conferences and Events, Books, etc.

Elon Musk.

Thinking outside of the box, bring creative and innovative products to the market.

Keep learning.
